Mr. Angelin brings more than 25 years of experience across investment banking, corporate finance, technology, and operations, with deep expertise advising technology, media, telecommunications (“TMT”), digital infrastructure, software, communications, and tech-enabled services companies. Throughout his career, he has advised on more than 80 transactions across 25 countries with an aggregate value exceeding $15 billion.
Prior to joining Balmoral, Mr. Angelin served as Managing Director in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Investment Banking Group at Oberon Securities, where he originated and executed a broad range of M&A and capital raising assignments. Earlier in his career, he held senior investment banking roles at Alantra, Cartagena Capital, BDO Capital Advisors, Fredericks Michael & Co., and UBS Investment Bank. His experience also includes serving as Interim Chief Financial Officer of a publicly traded software company and leadership positions within Ericsson’s global wireless business.
At Balmoral, Mr. Angelin will focus on expanding the firm’s technology, communications, and digital infrastructure franchise, advising multinational corporate clients, middle-market companies, private equity sponsors, and founder-led businesses on strategic mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, growth capital initiatives, and cross-border transactions. His extensive cross-border transaction experience and deep technical background further strengthen Balmoral’s ability to deliver sophisticated advisory services to clients operating in increasingly global and technology-driven markets.

Mr. Angelin holds an International MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lund University. He is fluent in English and Swedish and has extensive experience advising clients on both domestic and cross-border transactions.
